What the Kids Say About Their Oma

It is so much fun to see what the kids say about their grandmas each year for Mother's Day. Read what  they said about Oma last year here and Carter said about his Oma in 2017 here. Here are their answers in 2019 at almost 6.5 years old (Carter) and just over 4 years old (Elise).

What is something Oma always says to you?
Carter: Hi! 
Elise: We can go on a walk. You don't have to go to sleep. Nice words

What makes Oma happy?
Carter: When she kisses me and hugs me.
Elise: Kissing her.

What makes Oma sad?
Carter: Whenever I don't hug and kiss her.
Elise: Nothing 

How does Oma make you laugh
Carter: Buys Legos. She shows me Legos and I laugh because they make me so happy.
Elise: With funny faces.

What was Oma like as a child?
Carter: She was 6 like me. She had a tablet like me.
Elise: Like me.

How old is Oma?
Carter: 64
Elise: 3, I mean 4. I think Opa and her are 4.
How tall is Oma?
Carter: 3/4, she's as tall as mommy.
Elise: Super tall.

What is Oma's favorite thing to do?
Carter: Play with me.
Elise: Play games with me.

What does Oma do when you're not around?
Carter: Kisses Opa.
Elise: Miss me.

If Oma becomes famous, what will it be for?
Carter: The bank, she'll raise lots of money.
Elise: Nothing

What is Oma really good at?
Carter: Singing, I like her singing.
Elise: Popsicle stuff, feeding us good stuff like mac and cheese and bubble gum.

What is Oma not very good at?
Carter: Playing games sitting on the floor without a chair.
Elise: Cartwheels

What does Oma do for a job?
Carter: She does nothing, she's retired.
Elise: Play games with me.

What is Oma's favorite food?
Carter: Sea animals and mac and cheese and candy.
Elise: Mac and cheese.

What makes you proud of Oma?
Carter: Doing new stuff like makes me things, she makes me stuff out of yarn.
Elise: I do gymnastics! Daddy sends a picture to them. (I think she responded with what make Oma proud of her).

If Oma were a character who would she be?
Carter: Curious George because she's curious. I like Curious George and I like saying curious so I will always say that for that one.
Elise: Oma

What do you and Oma do together?
Carter: Play
Elise: Play and splash in puddles and help each agether and play games.

How are you and Oma the same?
Carter: We both like to go to places.
Elise: Because she's a girl and I'm a girl. That's very true! Very much true!

How are you and Oma different?
Carter: We're not the same of tall.
Elise: Because she has longer hair than me.

How do you know Oma loves you?
Carter: Because, just because.
Elise: Because I just know!

What does Oma like most about Opa?
Carter: She likes how he gets money.
Elise: She kisses him.

Where is Oma's favorite place to go?
Carter: Everywhere I like to go like McDonald's or a hotel or Silver Dollar City.
Elise: McAlister's 

How old was Oma when you were born?
Carter: She was 20.
Elise: 16 pounds
