Elise's Last Day of School

It's hard to believe Elise's first year of school has already come to an end! When Carter started 3 year old preschool he just went half days twice a week. I wanted to work if Elise was going to school so she started out with 3 full days. She did wonderfully, our only issue was that she stopped napping after her birthday in March and hated having to lay down for naptime at school. I loved teaching right next door to her so I could peek in her classroom when I walked by during the day! We had field day on Thursday since lots of kids only come on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that would be their last day of school. Elise enjoyed playing outside and doing the activities with her friends. Her class also had an ice cream social which she thought was awesome! On her last day of school on Friday she played outside pretty much all day and was super excited that they skipped naps. We left a little bit early so we could go to Carter's kindergarten graduation. She has learned so much and grown so much this year! She now knows all her colors, some shapes, can write her name, and can count to 10 without skipping any numbers. I'm so proud of her and am excited that we will be at the same school together again next year. Read about Elise's first day of school here. I couldn't find the chalkboard for pictures because I keep it in Elise's closet and her room/closet was a straight tornado so we just did her pictures with a piece of paper.
