Good Bye, 2018!

Each year when I sit down to do this post I get a little emotional thinking about how much my babies have grown and changed over the previous year. Ever since 2016 this post has also been a reminder to be thankful for good health an good luck. My Good Bye, 2015 post was the last post I wrote before Jeremy's accident and all our lives changed in large and then gradually smaller ways. Each new year I am now reminded to be thankful to have those I love still alive and here with me. We came so close to losing Jeremy that year and that taught me not to take life for granted, not even from those around me who are young, healthy, and it is easy to assume will be here next year. We never know what life has in store from minute to minute. One wrong step can change your life and the lives of all your loved ones forever. That fact was brought home to me in 2016 and that is a lesson I will never forget. So as I look back over this past year and all the moments made better by Jeremy being a part of them, I am thankful for another year on this Earth to show those I love how much I love them and to be loved in return. My photo recap from 2017 can be found  here, 2016 here, 2015 here, 2014 here, and 2013 here.

  1. The difference in Harper's two pictures was amazing. The first one caught me by surprise and I almost cried, then the second one made me teary because she looked so frail and raggedy. Poor little Harper. The rest of the pictures were really fun.

    1. I felt the same way. Seeing her 2nd picture broke my heart. She looked like she aged 10 years in those 5 weeks.
