Wordless Wednesday

Doing box jumps, his P.E. Activity of the day on his stay active calendar.

Oma and Opa sent new Trolls Legos and the kids were soooo excited!
Elise working on her Trolls Legos.
Carter showing off his finished Lego set.
Doing their P.E. activity from YouTube.
When I finished yoga I sat on the ground for a moment. That apparently made it the place to sit as both the kids got of the couch to sit on/with me.
Elise wanted to start reading to Oma and Opa each night too.
Her facial expressions as she reads are gold.
Got new running shoes and a few miles into my run realized I inadvertently matched my outfit to my shoes.
My sweet girls laying together!
Tesla sitting like a goober on our way to camp.
Playing on the beach at Great Salt Plains State Park before setting up our campsite.

Something about camping, this girl thinks she needs to be shirtless, haha!
The beach by our campsite had a gorgeous view!
The kids had a blast on this tree on our campsite.
Elise wanted to help stake the tent down.
Digging for salt crystals at the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge.
Getting a picture of the salt plains.
Ty really getting into digging!
We ended up with a couple pounds of salt crystals.
So much salt!
So crazy how much salt there is!
Tesla posing by an area where someone dug and then it got covered over in salt.
We found an area where there were crystals on the surface under salt.
Carter got tired and was ready to head back to the campsite.
Elise decided she was done too, but Ty was having too much fun.
Ty finally gave up when I told him I was hungry.
Enjoying some ice cream in the car.
Using my 60/70 mug from the Tulsa Run by the fire!
Picture of crystal digging from Ty's phone.
Tesla was such a good girl while we were digging!
Hiking after lunch.
There were some beautiful views!
Checking out the spillway from the trails.
This beach by our campsite was the highlight for the kids!
Gonna keep this with our camping stuff now. It's so perfect!
Ty used my new camping skillet for breakfast on Sunday morning.
Elise super excited to pop our first countdown to the last day of school balloon.
Carter reading Elise the slip that was inside the balloon.
It was hilarious how excited they were about a pajama day since they've been having them quite a bit since this all started.
Elise building number towers for math.
Carter following along with Dav Pilkey to draw characters from Dog Man.
Carter sorting coins for his math lesson.
Carter following along with his teacher to complete his art project.
Counting coins
Carter put on headphones to pop the balloon when it was his turn.
He decided to do it with scissors instead.
Elise drew pictures of her teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week.
Sister loves to paint with water colors.
We were running through so much ink printing things that I started having Carter read his Spanish stories from his teacher on the computer.
Elise's picture of his other teacher.
Carter saw me making a letter game for Elise and wanted to play so I made him one on the other side. I wrote vocabulary words in Spanish and said the word in English. He would shoot the word in Spanish that had the same meaning.
He was all about this game!
Elise shooting the letter to identify the letter I said.
I was impressed with her aim, she didn't miss much!
Focusing in on her letter.
Super excited she hit her mark!
Ty now works close enough to our house, he got to come home for lunch!
It was supposed to be picnic day but Ty surprised us by coming home for lunch so we did a picnic on the living room floor watching a Minions short movie.
Adding hair ties to popsicle sticks for math.
Carter "buying" items from our school store.
I watched Carter count out the money and then he paid Elise.
Elise wanted to have breakfast in bed this morning so that's what we did.

Carter was learning about fractions so I was using fraction circles and Elise decided she wanted to play with them.
Using water to discuss equivalent fractions.
Our balloon was water day so we did math with water.
Elise spraying the shape I said.

Elise finding and shooting the number.
Washing our salt crystals from digging this past weekend.
Using an old toothbrush to clean the crystals.

  1. I love the expression on Elise's face reading to us, and the expression on Carter's face with the balloon pop of the day and it was pj day. I need to take Dad to the salt place. Normally, if we're at a beach he digs holes constantly. He must love to dig.
