Christmas: What the Kids Say

What's on your Christmas list? I just added what they told Santa when we visited him earlier this month.
Carter: Legos  
Elise: Elsa doll and socks
 
What is the best part about Christmas?
Carter: Celebrating it and having fun and love with your parents. 
Elise: Family 

Why do we celebrate Christmas?
Carter: Because it's when Jesus was born. 
Elise: Of love and Santa. I want to say Santa because God was already born.  

Where does Santa live?
Carter: In the North Pole.
Elise: In the North Pole.

What are the names of Santa's reindeer?
Carter: Rudolph, Dancer, Prancer, and I forgot the rest. 
Elise: Rudolph but I don't know the other ones' names.

What do you think Santa's favorite food is?
Carter: Chili because in a lot of movies he eats chili. 
Elise: Cookies

What will Santa bring mommy and daddy for Christmas?
Carter: Socks and underwear and stuff in the stockings and maybe some Legos. 
Elise: Chocolate 

What's your favorite thing about Marco (their Elf on the Shelf)?
Carter: He's funny. 
Elise: That he goes on things.
