Wordless Wednesday

All snuggled together watching a show in Spanish for some Spanish practice for Carter.
Carter leading calendar, we've been trading off taking turns leading calendar and I think it's Elise's favorite thing we do. We're missing a few numbers, thanks to little Elise. I tell them it's extra practice to see how well they know their numbers!

The best part of homeschooling? Having school outside when the weather is nice.

Elise wanted to play Domino Top-It too so we played and she practiced counting the dots.

I'd tell her which number to jump to next. She really enjoyed this game.

Carter put his arm around Elise and she said, "I love my brother." They walked all the way to the living room like this. So far homeschooling has been really wonderful for their relationship.
Using her special scissors Gma and Gpa got her for her birthday.

Then he moved on to scooting around in his chair.
We've moved from Elise going to reading centers to choosing a reading center or choosing a play center. She definitely needed more time to just play. So she played with her Paw Patrols during reading centers.

Homeschooling is exhausting.
Carter's virtual spirit week day was make a rainbow so we read about rainbows and then colored one in during science time.
Carter's rainbow is now hanging in his window in his room. Not sure we got indigo quite right, but we tried.

Stringing cereal to make patterns. Elise is sticking to AB patterns. Carter and I discussed different kinds of patterns and he picked to make an AABB pattern.
