Wordless Wednesday

We drove past this mural after dropping Tesla off at the vet and had to get a picture!

Elise and I did our nails!

We read a book about ice sculptures so Carter wanted to try making an ice sculpture out of ice cubes.
Carter has been asking to ride his bike at Turkey Mountain for years, so I finally let him try it out on the Red Trail which is less hilly and technical than the other trails.

I gave Carter these sandals to wear because he couldn't find his shoes. He said, "Oh great, I look even more tired and lazy now! My shirt is too long, my hair isn't combed, and now I'm wearing slippers." Note: He dressed himself and was asked to comb his hair and chose not to so all but the shoes were his choice!
Elise wanted in a picture too.
Reading at Uncie Taco's house while I took care of the dogs.

Elise got a nail set in the mail from Oma and Opa and was super excited to do her nails!

The finished product.

We got each of the kids a hamster.
Elise letting her hamster, Lil Cutie, sniff her through the cage.
Letting Carter's hamster, Katie, sniff her through the cage.
Elise was super excited about her new swimsuit she picked out with a gift card from Uncle Mike and Aunt Judy.
Someone was super tired from her hamster waking her up extra early, running on her wheel.

We woke her up for dinner but she just couldn't fully wake up!

The zoo has such cute signs about keeping your distance!

We had a whole table to ourselves and they chose to sit right on top of each other!
Carter with the flamingoes for Opa!
Carter said it would be good luck to see a peacock.
The kids watching the Lil Cutie play on the toys they made her out of Duplo.

Elise holding Lil Cutie, it's easier to get pictures of her than it is to get pictures of Katie because Katie is so fast!
Now that Tesla knows she can jump up here, apparently it's a favorite hangout for her!
Elise was so excited I had washed her new swimsuit and it was ready, she wanted to swim even though it was still in the 70's!

  1. I was just thinking Tesla would do pretty much anything the kids want her to do, when you said it. They are sure enjoying the mini hamsters! They are adorable.
