Wordless Thursday

We got to the bookstore for storytime a little bit before it opened so we walked over to a coffee shop. Elise got a hot chocolate.
Carter picked a bottle of apple juice of all things!
We were the only ones at the bookstore for storytime so Elise got to pick the books. Carter just kept reading his book from home as she read the books.
We loaded up on presents at the book store. The car kept dinging for a seat belt so I put one on our books.
Matching Jack Skellington dresses!
Bike/scooter ride in the rain.

Bootanical Fun at the Botanic Garden!

Costume contest at the Botanic Garden.

Treat stop at the Botanic Garden.

Elise ended up accidentally kicking her shoe into the water.

It takes 2 Elsas to tame the water nokk!

Roasting hot dogs over the fire pit.

Elise was so tired she needed carried back to the car.

Philbrook Museum over fall break.

Group shot before going in the Philbrook.

This was the longest we spent in a room, go figure!

We had no idea this little house was even back here!

We had no idea this garden was back here either!

The kids were thrilled that there was a mud kitchen!

Elise's artwork mimicking a Hispanic illustrator for our library's Hispanic Heritage Month display.

Elise was missing her Gma and Gpa so she listened to the recorded book they made her.

Trail runnin with Tesla!

Perfect stocking cap for the soccer game, made by Oma!

Elise wanted to carry my camp chair for me.

Making a cutting board.

She was so proud!

Mother Road Market to kick off Fall Break!

Not sure how I'm supposed to be able to get out for my run when everyone's snuggling on the bed without me!

Elise wanted a bun on one side and a ponytail on the other. It was just a normal day, not crazy hair day or anything, haha!

I was worried about Ty's Christmas present making it in time so I ordered it early and it arrived in a box that showed exactly what it was and he made it home before me. So Christmas came early!

This day she asked for a braid on one side and a bun on the other.

I love how much they love each other!

Special treat for Skippy.

Carving pumpkins!

I wanted to get a picture of Elise and her pumpkin, but Opa did this...

Drawing shadows.

Crazy sock day at school!

  1. Elise looked proud of her hot chocolate. Who was the dark haired boy with them at the Philbrook? It sure had a lot of extra stuff in the back.

    1. He was a boy from Carter's class who we happened to run into there. You actually met him a while back when we bumped into him at the Gilcrease Museum.
