Good Bye, 2016!

2016 started off terribly for us with Jeremy's accident on January 2nd. We spent the first few months of the year struggling to keep up and to hold our heads above water. Jeremy's recovery has been miraculous and we are all thankful for that. Things really started looking up this summer with Jeremy running his first race back and gearing up to start school again in the fall. We also had some really exciting moments such as Elise's first birthday and the birth of our nephew. So although 2016 wasn't the greatest for us, we are still thankful for all the wonderful moments it provided. I'm ready to put it behind us and start over fresh in 2017. I am excited for what this coming year has in store for us! Check out last year's post here, 2014's post here, and 2013's post here.

  1. Good post. The picture of Carter for his 4th birthday was perfect.

  2. I can't get over how much Elise grew over that year! From very much a baby with little hair to a walking, talking big girl with sweet curls!
