For Elise's Birthday she wanted a hover board. Since that was an expensive present, I told her we would get it for her if she did a birthday party at the house. She wanted to do a sleepover with her friends. Since we were spending some money on materials for that, we decided not to take a spring break trip over her birthday like we did last year. Instead we stayed home and she had a yes day. She wanted to have McDonald's breakfast and then go to my friend Audrey's house to collect chicken eggs. After that it was back home for some tablet time and then off to McAlister's for lunch. She wanted to go for a bike ride and then go back out to Audrey's house to play with the baby goats so we were off again. She had requested my parents come for her birthday so they arrived in the afternoon and we met them at home. She wanted Mother Road Market for dinner so that's what we did and then she wanted to take her Oma and Opa over to Audrey's house to see the baby goats and the chickens so we went back over. We got home and had bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes and that was her yes day!

The special cat afghan my mom made her!
At her friend birthday party she wanted to decorate cookies, have an Easter egg hunt, play balloon stomp, and then have a dump meal with mac and cheese. She and I went to Target to pick out what to fill the Easter eggs with and she picked out matching baskets for each girl and we bought a multi pack of colored Sharpies so they could all decorate their baskets. The next morning we did a tea party breakfast with chocolate milk, donut holes, mini muffins, and a large assortment of fruit (all chosen by Elise).
Elise picked out this balloon arch when we were getting supplies at Target.

She had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday and I can't believe she's already in double digits!
Such great pictures! The baby goats were adorable, weren't they?
