Happy Valentine's Day!

We have been enjoying our Valentine's Day so much already! It started with heart shaped pancakes. Well, for me it started with a 10 mile run with some speed work, but I made pancakes for the kids when I got home. Then it was off to school for Carter and to the library for storytime for me and Elise. For some reason Elise has been waking up crazy early the past few days. It's usually a rarity for her to wake before 7, but she has done just that the past 4 days. This morning Ty said she woke up shortly after I left the house to run around 5:45. So little miss fell asleep on the way to the library and I sat in the car and let her sleep until it was time to go in for storytime. Carter had a blast at his Valentine's Day party at school and was so excited to look through his valentines when he got home. We had more heart shaped foods with heart peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and sweet potato cut into hearts. Carter and I laid down to rest while Elise took her nap and now Carter is very anxiously waiting for Elise to wake so we can make our Valentine's Day cake. We are off to do some fun heart activities while we wait, but Carter enjoyed helping me pick which pictures to add with this post. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! We love you all!
