What My Loved One Says About Me

I read this post a couple weeks ago and thought it sounded like fun.  I had Ty read it and asked him if he would write a post for me with fun little facts about me.  He agreed and I smiled.  I reminded him about it on Sunday and he e-mailed me with what he wrote Monday evening.  I excitedly opened the e-mail and it was blank.  Weird...  I told him and he cursed.  He hadn't saved what he wrote.  Of course not right, I mean why save anything?  My husband is such a man!  So he re-wrote his list, not sure if he remembered what he originally had.  Here's what my loved one says about me:

You say some of the funniest things when you are by yourself, recently overhead: “how the hell is a single mom supposed to put this together?!” (on putting together Carter’s jumperoo).

You don’t mind getting up in the middle of the night to feed Carter because you cherish that little extra time with him.

Running with a stroller is hard but I know you absolutely love being able to look down and watch Carter during a run.

You are a fast and dedicated runner and will be a great role model for our son. Even though sometimes you are ridiculous and say you are “out of shape”. :)

You win races pushing the stroller!
(my edit here: I've never actually won a race with the stroller, only my age group.  He makes me sound much cooler!)

You are very creative, always thinking of crafts you can do with Carter. You produce something that I know warms his grandparents' hearts.

You love to learn new things, like asking me to teach you how to use power tools so that you can do more of your crafts!

I love how ancy you get waiting for Carter to wake up from a nap so you two can play!

  1. Awww - I love the jumperoo one! I thought the same thing when I got frustrated and told my husband to do it, along with the initial set up of the pack n play. Very sweet :)
